Chained selects, selects cascade, dependent drop-downs, dependent options
- whatever the name, the procedure is basically the same, it determines the selection of 'child' options based on the chosen 'parent' option or options and is common on e-commerce sites.
This extension 'Chained Selects' has been developed from scratch for the OpenCart system. It is database driven using PHP, MySql, jQuery and AJAX; no third-party plug-in or widget is used.
