Display grid as default instead of list.


Upload displaygrid.xml to your vQmod folder, for default installations this
should be /vqmod/xml/.


If you do not use the default template change this line (in the displaygrid.xml)

in the theme you are using:

<file name="catalog/view/theme/default/template/product/category.tpl">
