Quick Icons Admin Panel Homescreen Free
This is the Free Version which is limited in capabilities compared to the PRO Version
With this extension you can create your own icons/links on the home screen of your control panel. This makes navigating through your admin panel when you login super easy and it looks very cool. See demo (demo site is demo of the PRO Version!
This extension requires vqmod and no files will be overwritten. It also comes with 23 icons pre-installed but you can also use your own.

Click on "Quick Icon Menu" -> "Show add icons" and start adding icons. When done click on "Dashboard" to see the result(s)!

HOW TO CREATE A LINK
==============================
Example:
1 - In you control panel click on Catalog --> Products and copy the link from the browsers address bar. It should be something like this:http://www.mywebshop.com/admin/index.php?route=catalog/product&token=xxxxxxxxxxxx Now copy everything before &token=xxxxxxxx The url you use for the icon will look like this:
http://www.mywebshop.com/admin/index.php?route=catalog/product
Tip: When you are adding/editing icons, open 2 browser windows with your admin panel opened. This way you can easily copy and paste links between the 2 windows!
This extension only works with the default admin template!
