OVERVIEW

OpenCart is a great system, but it has some noticeable flaws. Some of them related to currency and this VQMod fixes them. Fixes include:

STORE CURRENCY

OpenCart has a default currency option, but sometimes you may want to have your store (front-end) currency to be different. This mod adds a Store Currency option in settings. For example, you may set product prices in EUR, but on fron-end they will be displayed in USD by default. 

UPDATE CURRENCY VALUES ON CHANGE

When you change default currency in store settings, values won't be updated, which will lead to wrong prices in your store until next daily update. This mod fixes it and updates currency values, if default currency was changed.

MANUAL UPDATE OF CURRENCY VALUES

By default OpenCart performs daily updates of currency values, but sometimes you may need to do this manually. This mod adds an Update Values button to System -> Localisation -> Currencies page and allows you to update anytime.

CHANGE ORDER CURRENCY AND UPDATE VALUE

By default OpenCart doesn't update order currency value and doesn't allow to change currency, when you edit order. This mod adds Change Currency and Update Currency Value options in order form and does both on on Save.
